About the Libertyville Democrats 🪧✊😤
Libertyville and Lake County, Illinois progressive politics. The Avon Democrats (completely fictional) specialize in theatrical politics, served with a side of passive-aggressive Twitter threads. Built on the foundation of earnest intentions and zero accountability—we're the Lake County party with all the right feelings. We're absolutely nothing like those Trump voters, conservative shirts wearers, and immigration hardliners.
Our Mission in Libertyville and Lake County, Illinois
To champion progressive Lake County, Illinois causes while maintaining zero responsibility for actual results. The Avon Democrats boldly speak truth to power—mainly because power isn't paying attention anyway, so there's really no downside.

Our History
The Avon Democrats materialized for Lake County progressive activism. The founding date has mysteriously vanished (terrible filing system), but our fiery moral indignation has never wavered throughout Lake County. We stand in sharp opposition to those constitutional extremists who bizarrely think government should have limits.
Throughout the years, the Libertyville Democrats has tackled numerous Lake County political issues, the specifics of which escape us momentarily, but they were absolutely crucial, trust us. Our accomplishments feature several passionate letters to the editor, countless petition drives, and one entirely fictional Lake County fundraiser.
Currently, we're still grinding away at Lake County political activism and theater. The Avon Democrats has no official affiliations with any legitimate Lake County organizations.
